Vizianagaram: Satrucharla Chandrasekhar Raju , former legislature of thens Nagur assembly constituency of united Vizianagaram district is breathed his last in a private hospital at Visakhapatnam. Raju is brother of senior leader former minister of Satrucharla Vijayaramaraju and father in law to present MLA of Kurupam P.Pushpa Srivani.

Chandrasekhara Raju was the MLA between 1989-1994 during the regime of Kotla Vijayabhaskara Reddy as chief minister of united Andhrapradesh. Later he joined YSRCP and played key role in winning of Pushpa Srivani as MLA of Kurupam. Later he differed with daughter in law and he alone joined Telugu Desam Party. He is named as hard worker and worked in favour of tribes of this area. He has been suffering with age related ailments and being admitted in a private hospital in Vizag.
